1 Corinthians 15:20-22

But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.

This passage speaks of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of the Christian faith. Because Christ has been raised from the dead, we have hope of eternal life with Him. But it also reminds us of our own mortality and our need for salvation through Christ.

So how do we apply this passage to our lives? First, we must remember that our hope is in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because He has conquered death, we too can have victory over death and the grave. We can have confidence that we will be raised to eternal life with Him.

Secondly, we must recognize our own need for salvation through Christ. As the passage says, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but through faith in Christ we can be made alive in Him.

Finally, we must share this hope with others. We can share the good news of the resurrection with those who do not yet know Christ, and we can also share the hope of eternal life with other believers who may be struggling with doubt or fear.

May we never forget the hope we have in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. May we live our lives with confidence in the victory over death that He has won for us. And may we share that hope with others, that they too may have the joy and peace that comes from knowing Christ. For in Him, we have the promise of eternal life and the hope of a future that is secure in Him.
