Hebrews 7:25

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

This verse tells us that Jesus is not only able to save us from our sins, but He is able to save us completely. When we come to God through Him, we can have confidence that we are fully accepted and forgiven.

But what does it mean that Jesus always lives to intercede for us? As our High Priest, Jesus is constantly advocating on our behalf before the Father. He knows our weaknesses and our struggles, and He is always interceding for us, pleading our case before God.

This is a comforting thought, especially when we are going through difficult times or when we feel like we have failed. We can be confident that Jesus is interceding for us, and that His grace is sufficient for us.

As Seventh-day Adventists, we also understand the significance of Christ's ministry in the heavenly sanctuary. We believe that He is not only our High Priest, but that He is also performing a work of judgment, preparing a people for His second coming.

In light of this, Hebrews 7:25 reminds us that we have a Savior who is fully committed to our salvation. He is not only able to save us completely, but He is actively working on our behalf, both in the heavenly sanctuary and through His ongoing ministry of intercession.

May we always remember the significance of Christ's ministry as our High Priest, and may we find comfort and confidence in the knowledge that He is always interceding for us.
