Sacrifice
Ephesians 1:7
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
This verse is a reminder of the incredible gift of salvation that we have through Christ. It tells us that we have been redeemed by His blood and that our sins are forgiven. We are no longer slaves to sin, but instead, we have been set free by the grace of God.
It's important to remember that our redemption and forgiveness are not things that we can earn or deserve. They are gifts of God's grace, given to us freely through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It is because of His great love for us that He willingly endured the cross and shed His blood for our sins.
So, what does this mean for us as Seventh-day Adventists? It means that we can have confidence in our salvation. We don't have to live in fear of judgment or condemnation because we have been redeemed by the blood of Christ. It means that we can experience true freedom from sin and the power it once held over us.
But it also means that we have a responsibility to live in a way that honors the sacrifice that Christ made for us. We should strive to live lives that reflect His love and grace. We should seek to share the good news of the gospel with others so that they too can experience the gift of salvation.
In conclusion, we can rejoice in the truth that we have been redeemed through the blood of Christ and our sins are forgiven. May we live each day with gratitude for this incredible gift of grace, and may we share it with others so that they too can experience the freedom and joy that comes from knowing Christ.
