1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

These words from the Apostle Paul remind us of the centrality of the gospel message in our lives as Christians. They remind us that the gospel is not just a set of beliefs or doctrines, but it is a message of hope and salvation that has the power to transform our lives.

The gospel message is simple, yet profound. It tells us that we are sinners in need of a savior, and that Jesus Christ is that savior. He died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day, in accordance with the Scriptures.

When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, we are saved from our sins and given the promise of eternal life. This is a message that we must hold fast to, and share with others. As Paul writes in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."

May we never forget the power of the gospel message in our lives. May we hold fast to it, and share it boldly with others. And may we always remember the words of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, which remind us of the incredible hope and salvation that is available to us through Jesus Christ.
